Sustainable living is a lifestyle that attempts to reduce an individual’s or society’s use of the Earth’s natural resources and personal resources. Practitioners of sustainable living often attempt to reduce their carbon footprint by altering methods of transportation,energy consumption and diet.
Benefits Of Sustainable Living
1. Improve Our Health:
Living sustainable is a fantastic way to increase fitness and improve our life balance. This is because we will depend less on vehicle or machinery and the consumption of quality food products that is either locally or organically produced. Biking,walking or doing tasks manually can help us to maintain and increase our fitness. This could also enhance our happiness and fight depression
2. Better Earth For Future Generation:
The most important reason to live a sustainable lifestyle is to safeguard the environment. Reducing environmental footprint or simply utilizing the Sun’s energy will ensure our Earth’s stability and existence for future generation.
3. Cost Savings:
Why find the hard ways to save your pocket when you can easily cut your cost by living a sustainable lifestyle? For example, sustainable homes promise reduced costs of water consumption,heating and lighting through implementation of water saving techniques,use of green energy and smart lighting solutions respectively.

1. Say No To Plastic:
They are a growing menace in our environment and they take billions of years to decompose. Also,they contain hazardous chemicals and are the main cause of thousands marine mammals,seabirds and seals death.
2. Cook Your Own Food:
By cooking your own food,you’ll be eating healthy and saving costs at the same time. Eating locally is also a more impressive way to live a sustainable life. Instead of going to supermarket to shop some not-so-fresh vegetables,fruits or other products,you should plant them by yourself at your backyard.
3. Drive Green Or Walk More:
Carpooling,use of public transport,biking and walking are some of the most efficient and sustainable practices. You could live a sustainable life and improve your health at the same time. If you intend to move within a short distance try using a bike or take a walk instead of driving your car. If you are going for a long distance,carpooling or public transport will be a good idea. Driving as one person in car is completely not sustainable and is highly discouraged.
